Tim Petrus studied law at Ghent University (2015) and later obtained an LLM in International Business Law in Ghent (2016).

He began his career in 2016 at the Bar of Oudenaarde, where he was also active as the chairman of the Young Bar.

In 2021, he joined the firm, where he mainly focuses on corporate and business law.
